A Night of Solo Violin: A Benefit Recital

Date: Saturday, November 14

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: First Congregational Church (FCC)

Admission: Fundraising Recital (Donations gratefully accepted)

Join us for an extraordinary evening of high-energy string playing! This special fundraising event features a demanding and brilliant program of solo violin masterworks, bridging the classical tradition with powerful modern voices. I will be performing captivating solo works by Bach, Auerbach, Bacewicz, Zwillich, and Milstein-Paganini.

This evening is also a proud showcase of KVC’s growth and collaborative spirit. Joining me on stage are several of our superb members from the Kalamazoo Violin Choir, performing beloved foundational and solo pieces by Seitz, Prokofiev, Elgar, Vivaldi, Rieding, and Küchler.

Supporting Our Community:

Every note played tonight helps sustain vital local programming. All proceeds and donations from this recital directly benefit:

  • The Kalamazoo Violin Choir (KVC): educational and ensemble funds.

  • FCC’s Preventing Eviction Program: providing critical housing stability and support to local families.

  • The Open Doors Dinner: helping feed and support neighbors in our community, especially right before the Holiday Season!

Come fill your evening with incredible music, brilliant student showcases, and vibrant artistic energy—all while supporting these wonderful causes. We cannot wait to see you there!
